What is Badlands Unlimited?

What are your hours of operation?

Why e-books? Why not just publish paper books like normal people?
Because you can’t publish a .GIF on paper. Also because reading an e-book on e-readers like the iPad or Kindle means you only have to use one hand to read, freeing your other hand to do whatever you please.
What do you publish?
What we like and want to read and look at ourselves. We publish books that belong perfectly nowhere. We publish books that no one knew they wanted.
It seems that you mainly publish books on or about art or books by artists. Do you publish anything else?
Not really. We love artists, but we also love writers, poets, dictators, philosophers, and rappers.
Where can I buy your e-books?
You can buy our e-books through Apple iBooks (for the iPad, iPhone, and iTouch) and Amazon (for the Kindle).
Where can I buy your paper books?
You can buy our paper books at all fine independent bookshops. Our paper books are distributed by D.A.P. in the Americas and Koenig Books in Europe. If you cannot find a copy of our book at your local bookshop, email us at operator@badlandsunlimited.com and we’ll be happy to sell you a copy. We will also call your local bookshop to make sure they stock our books from now on.
I’m a book buyer. Can I buy books directly from you for my shop?

We do not accept solicitations unless you’re one of the following people: Kim Jong Il son, Susan Miller, Bruce Nauman, Lil’ Wayne, Chris Marker, Paul Chan, that guy that used to be on Celebrity Rehab, Tyler Perry, Giorgio Agamben, Peggy Ahwesh, Michael Robbins, Cheryl Tiegs, Samuel R. Delany, and David Hammons (list in formation).
How can I submit my work to Badlands?
We are not currently accepting unsolicited work at this time. Do not call us—we will call you. We are the ones who knock...knock....

Do you offer PDF's of the books?
Some of our titles have free pdf editions that can be downloaded from our website.
How does one make an e-book?
We hand code each and every e-book based on state-of-the-art EPUB specs.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. However, customers are responsible for the cost of international shipping for the individual item being delivered.

Unfortunately, we no longer accept Bitcoins as of September 2012.
How long will shipping take when I order a limited edition or work from you?
Domestic shipping (within the US) takes up to a week. International shipping takes up to two to three weeks.
Do you accept barter/art trade in exchange for your editions or works?
No.
Do you offer promo codes for e-book downloads to press, reviewers, bloggers, students, etc?
We do offer free review copies of our e-books via promo codes for downloads. If you are press and want a review copy feel free to contact us press@badlandsunlimited.com
